Lake Desire Residents:
1. Happy Holidays – From the Lake Desire Community Club, we send you and your families the very warmest holiday wishes! We hope you have a wonderful 2014!
2. Meeting minutes from last month’s Community Meeting -
Please find attached to this email minutes from last week’s meeting. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, January 28th at 7pm. Location To Be Announced.
3. Kent School District Clothing Bank - As the holidays roll around and you are thinking about charity giving, please consider the Kent School District Clothing Bank. They are in need of clean, gently used coats, hats, mittens and blankets and NEW socks & underwear. So check out your closets. All sizes needed, even high school. So they can take adult sizes. Contact Tammie Cook (tammiecook29@yahoo.com) for donations.
4. Lake Desire Repair Person Wanted – Looking for a volunteer to help make clubhouse repairs. Our rentals are increasing rapidly which requires occasional maintenance. Please contact Heather Smith, Heather@smith.net or reply to this email for Heather Stafford if interested.
5. White swans on Lake Desire – Thanks so much to observant neighbors who spotted four beautiful white (maybe Trumpeter?) swans on the lake last Saturday. We are attaching a picture taken by neighbor Michele Bettinger. Enjoy!
6. Hardcopy Newsletter coming to your mailboxes early next year - this will be your opportunity to vote and send in your memberships, which are much appreciated. If anyone would like to contribute articles or help fold/stuff newsletters please reply to this email.
